A Musical Duo: Wedding at The Briarcliff Manor

The Proposal

Laura + Evan’s proposal story is music to our ears! Evan, a music teacher, had been teaching Laura how to play guitar and what seemed like a normal guitar lesson soon turned out to be a guitar lesson she’d never forget. In the middle of teaching her how to play Evan told her she needed a new pick and handed her one that read “Will You Marry Me.”

The Wedding

Their musical proposal played a huge role in this Briarcliff Manor Couple’s special day as they personalized each detail to reflect the sweet moment. With the proposal pick on display, guests were welcomed to the manor with concert tickets as their place cards.

In shades of plum and orange, complete with this year’s fall leaves starting to grow, Laura + Evan’s wedding was a Fall Wedding dream here at the manor. This sweet Briarcliff Manor Couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the gorgeous view of the Hudson River in the fall. Then the newlyweds headed inside to make their grand entrance, and what’s a grand entrance without a grand first dance?! Laura + Evan’s first dance as husband and wife were first dance goals!

The musical duo had an awesome time cutting their cake, which was beautifully decorated with a newlywed silhouette. It’s all in the details – if you look closely at these sweetheart’s cake table you can even see the guitar pick that started their newlywed journey!
